Terms & Conditions
- Minimum driver's age 23 for cars of category A, B, C. Minimun driver's age 25 for all other categories. There is no maximum age. However, drivers over 70 years of age need to pay a 10€ per day as insurance surcharge.
- All non-European Union Citizens must have a valid International License issued by their National Automobile Club together with their National License. Police and Insurance Laws in Greece are very strict on this point.
- Driver must hold and present a valid driver’s license for at least two years prior to the rental date.
- An additional driver is allowed free of charge. Same conditions apply as for the main driver in regards of age and drivers license validity period. If a third driver is added, then there is a 5€ per day extra charge.
- Delivery and pick-up is available and free of charge for Kos airport. Out of working hours deliveries are available at a 25€ charge.
- Hotel deliveries are available at a 15€-20€ charge. The Doblo and T-Cross delivery has a 25€ surcharge.
- Different location drop off fee is available from 15€.
- Baby seats and booster seats are free of charge and available upon prior request. Second baby seat costs 5€ per day extra. Second booster seat costs 3€ per day extra.
CANCELLATION POLICY
FREE CANCELLATION up to 72 hours prior to the collection of the car.
Full refund through your credit/debit card, -20€ handling fee.
After this period you will be charged with the full amount.
INSURANCE
- All Autoway vehicles are covered by full insurance (THIRD PARTY + COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER). Liability due to accident or damage to the rented vehicle are limited to 750€ for cars of groups A, B, C, D and 1000€ for the Doblo, SUV and convertibles. All-Inclusive Full Protection insurance (Full DW), which covers also wing mirrors, glasses and tyres, costs 10€ for groups A, B, C, D and 15€ for the Doblo, SUV and convertibles. Insurance applies in case of a road accident. Damages caused by the driver himself (single car accidents) are not covered and must be paid to the amount of the damage plus 20€ handling fee.
- All Autoway vehicles are insured against theft to the full value of the vehicle.
- All Autoway drivers are covered by personal insurance.
- All applicable taxes (VAT + City Tax) are included in the quoted prices.
- Petrol consumed during the rental period is paid by the renter. If car is returned with less petrol the amount of petrol missing will be charge plus a 10€ handling fee.
- All Autoway cars are delivered to the customer washed and clean, inside and outside. If the car is returned in a bad condition (excessive amount of dirt or sand, mud etc), cleaning fees from 20€ to 150€ may apply (valet).
- Traffic and parking fines and penalties resulting during the rental period are paid by the renter.
- Driver must use the rented vehicle in a responsible manner, according to traffic laws. Autoway reserves the right to take back the vehicle, at any time at your expense if any of the terms below are breached:
- Drivers not approved by Autoway can not drive the vehicle and are not insured under any circumstances.
- Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol results in cancellation of all insurance coverage and renter is solely liable for all person and property damages.
- Driving the car off-road results in cancellation of all insurance coverage and renter is solely liable for damages to the rented vehicle.
- Renter must not exceed the legal number of passengers or the maximum weight limit allowed.
- Renter must not drive the car in any case of breakdown. You must notify the office immediately and ask for assistance.
- It is strictly forbidden to ferry the rented vehicle out of Kos island without previous Autoway approval.
